Nice original Juncker, earlier called as slim stalk IAB.
Thanks Janos. I tried to find it in Sascha Weber's book, but didn't have much joy.
Appreciated and Cheers.
Hello Mark
A good deduction on your part as your example has many "Like" attributes of the Deschler variants...especially when looking at the talons.
I agree with Hans, this one is attributed to the firm of Juncker and had the nickname "Slim Stalk".
The color looks to be a Golden hue; can you see any type of "brassy" colored undercoating peeking through the silver finish.
These examples have been found with a nice coating over the base zinc material before the finish was applied.
This process definitely attributed to the finish holding up so well over time.
This variant is not shown in the Weber book.
Nice Example...

Hi Fischer.
There is a slight golden hue, but more to the reverse than the front. Not sure what to do with this one now, I was going to sell it on, as I have just picked up a nice brass/nickle silver IAB by Schauerte & Hohfeld.
But this one is a nice example.
Appreciate your feedback.
Cheers
Mark
János, Fischer,
Any chance you can elaborate on why this variant is known as 'the Slim Stalk' please? It would be useful for reference to those of us not quite so well versed in identifying the different variants.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
