Article about: I'm suspicious of the 101st being WWII era, but \\$40 is pretty good for all 4 patches, IMO.........

    Hello

I was told these might be post war by a guy I don't trust, honestly. I believe them to be WWII.

There's a type 3 eagle and some other patches.

I thought the snow back meant WWII era?

I was hoping for a "real or fake" trial and possibly some sort of price range. I'm in it $40. I hope it isn't murky water, I usually find interest in German stuff.

Oh by the way the tabs are all attached and the 29th division is a greenback, sweeet.

    Thanks very much.

Okay thanks. Any word on the values? I've looked at some prices but the sellers can ask whatever they want. $100 - $175 for the 101st?

On closer inspection the 101st looks like it may be Vietnam era. Going off what I see here is what I think the patches are worth
    101st- 25
    82nd- 30
    29th- 35
    Airborne Cap- 15

I know no two patches are alike but it seems to be the same maker as this one. US Airborne shoulder sleeve insignia Type 3

Also someone mentioned how almost all WWII ID'd 101st patches were solid black eyes. But that's just my little research. I am willing to accept it's Vietnam era.

    Thanks again for the help.

Oh wow thank you....takes 100ibs off my shoulders.

This was a real gamble for me.

Besides the snowy back and the no detail eye, what else did you use to tell?
