    Hi all !
    Again i need a little expert advice/info on the below one piece patch if possible
    possibly been discussed to death but im at a loss as to the different types etc etc
    Looks like its been in a scrap book or similar due to the glue residue on the reverse.

    ww2 genuine period or ? plus which type , im aware of the different eyes ,tongues but need help with this one

    So then , after a very long and indepth 24 hours research ..
    I think im there with the type ! im 95% sure its a Type 3 due to the fact its a one piece and no detail eye , plus the tongue position more connected to the bottom side of the beak with a slim gap to the back top ...??!! if that makes sense

    any comments from experts would be great to confirm .

    Like the look of this one. There are so many post-war
    and repro types about, but I think it is good.

    That it has been pasted into a book
    wouldn't bother me.........

    Hi , thanks for that .. I already looked at that site !
    Very useful and informative .. That's how I came up with the type 3 possibility .
    But also looks similar to a 4 , but swinging towards a type 3 as I look at it more and more.
