Sorry to post in this section but it has the most people in it. I really need some answers. Any help is appreciated.

I am unable to read some of the letters on it.

Natural light pictures are needed the flash has obscured some of the letters, and all there post go threw the "new posts sections" so really it will be answer if you put it in the correct section. And if i remember the first post about the helmet I think it may have been answer in that thread.

British police cap badge?
You can do a Rub with pencil led on some paper, that will bring things out that you can not see.

Im not sure that the words are in English but it is a very soft stamp.

It's a Greek police cap badge from 60's. I read on it ΑΣΤΥΝΟΜΙΑ ΠΟΛΕΩΝ, police of the town of Athens.

Good call, now it makes sense. Had the police part correct.
It is all Greek to me pardon the pun.....
