Can anyone tell me what these epaulets are from?

Article about: The button has the slogan of the 175th infantry regiment on it. From what I could find they might by civil war but I do not really know. I would appreciate any help.

    can't find a better image than this, but yours look very similar to these and if these are accurately described elsewhere, yours are civil war period and of the 175th infantry regiment.

    i'm absolutely no expert with these at all. i merely provide the following photo of similar epaulettes:

    Templehof is correct, of course. A pair of Ep's from the 175 Infantry and in Superb Condition! It's extremely rare to see the fringe still white. A beautiful pair and still with their original buttons. Nice!
