    Hi all, I just thought I would post this GPO armband that Vicky and James(edelweiss123) kindly gifted me. Arrived just in time for Christmas!! A big thanks and a Merry Christmas to them both. I have never seen one before and am looking forward to finding out a bit more about it! Leon.

    I dont know anything about these but it will dispaly well with your GPO helmet.

    Hi chaps, I have found a few references that seem to suggest that these were worn from 1948 and into some time in the 60's. There were different coloured ones depending on job and rank. Also there would have been a metal and enamel number plate affixed to the front through the eyelets. Leon.
