Desert Air Force patch, unusual construction, foreign?

Hey guys, this came in a recent patch collection purchase.....is it foreign made? Thanks guys!

Looks like it is US made this patch was made in both felt and embroidered did you try and use a black light, from what I can see it looks like it is a reproduction

It might be a repro as it doesn't match this one which is described as a WW2 produced patch, but of course it may be from a different maker!..

The material on the back is just too odd, I reminds me of many of the 60s and 70s period patches with the same patches. Gunny the one you have posted is definitely ww2 production the backing material commonly referred to as cheese cloth backing is very common to the period unlike the first patch posted

Yup the patch from the OP looks dodgy to me!...
