    Great find, Jerry!

    Luke
Indeed Luke and probably dates to 1909, so pre WWI and only two years after the Mons was formed as a Territorial Regiment from the old Volunteer Bn's.

I'll start a thread on it when it arrives and I can take some more and hopefully better pics.
    Regards,

This pair just landed here the other day. I believe the markers mark on the reverse is J & CO. I can definitely make out the J & C.

Just scored these of the bay, a pair of silver officers collar dragons of the Monmouthshire regiment pattern, though also worn by the Welsh, a pair of silver officers collar dragons and a single or's white metal of the 1950s' pattern for the monmouthshire regiment. I have never seen any of these latter types for sale before so very pleased to get them and the silver earleir type was also on my wanted list and they will go nicely with the white metal and gilded versions I already had.
