Hi and welcome to the Forum. These are a set of 2'' 'Sweetheart' or shirt size
Pilot wings. I believe they are from the WWII era. Can't tell you the maker
though. Many companies and jewellers were busy making insignia
during the war. Nice find.........!

I know from the area iv been detecting there old, iv dug everything from silver and copper spoons to 1910 wheat pennies found some old silver quarters
and my brother dug up a bronze Pratt and whitney decal that dated back to WW II
would the wings be more of a decorative item, or might they have some sort of value ?

Some were sent or given to wives, mothers and girlfriends, while others
were worn by pilots on the shirt. As a ground find, and scuffed up
as they are, they are likely worth around $20-$30.
