Article about: Hi guys! I have decided to start collecting patches. I don't want anything too fancy, but I do want a complete set. "Complete" in my book is: Every infantry, airborne, and armored

    I would love to get some hard-to-find patches. I do like the crude WWI designs.

    For now I just want a solid, authentic example from each division. I'd like to arrange them in a large frame or something like that once I'm finished.

    A good start one thing I would invest in is a black light, also they did make the 11th Airborne in one piece

    How do you know it's a reproduction? Just so I know what to look for.

    Nice greenback, there are so many factors that go into telling if a patch is real first most ww2 patches are cut edge. The second thing to look at is that there is no glue coating on the back there are a lot of modern patches that put wax on the back of the patch to hold the threads, most ww2 patches are snow back. A uv light will also be a good judge. If you ever have a question on a patch just post it on here there are plenty of collectors who know patch on here you are slowly on your way
