    Whilst not actually insignia, It is insignia related... An unused set of private purchase lock rings for your tunic badges. I have often seen these rings on officers khaki tropical tunics being used to hold the buttons on as well.

    OK heres the Colour Patches supplement i downloaded.
    Its gunna be a big post there are 31 pages.The colours are a bit jaded on the scans but just tell me if you want clarification of any from the original document.

    Here are some rare Japanese made hand stitched Australian colour patches, they were made by Japanese women and sold to Australian soldiers who wore them on their tunics during the post war occupation period... Basically 1940's style bling
    Unfortunately they are a little faded but they are very very hard to find and I have only seen maybe half a dozen or so in 20 years of collecting.

    Top - Australian War Graves Service, 1945-1949

    Middle - Australian Army Canteens Service, 1945-1949

    Bottom - Australian Army Ordnance Corps, 1945-1948 & Royal Australian Army Ordnance Corps, 1948-1949
