    Hey Blokes

    As always some fantastic stuff..

I have been organising my collections and sorting the oddments ~

I was actually straightening out afew bent webbing buckles with my MAP torch ~ and thought ~ Hey ~ I have quite a few badly encrusted badges , AMF buttons and many coins that are never going make my exhibition trays ~ or just bound to dropped into the brica-brac boxes... I have nothing to lose , I reckon i will give some of them a burst under the torch flame ~

Then I cooled the item and then buffed with a soft brass brush under tap water ~

And blow me down if the results have not been absolutely stunning ~

These three including a sad AMF button ~ after being flamed ~

( I have done a comprehensive report on my Blog on site ~ )

Thanks Dave , Im trying to put together a string of WW2 RAAF Epaulette piccys on for an example to help people look for small things that are easily missed , It has nothing to do with originality , more to do with spotting ad on's and the differences so you dont end up with a mis matched pair , If that makes sense. I figure doing it in pictures step by step would make it easy for members to see what im on about, and it should make sense. It will in fact when I finish .
It applies all the way down the line to uniforms, caps etc. etc.
Its all to helping fellow members .
