Hi Kris, it is hard to say for certain from the tiny pic, but it might me OK.
Too much money in my opinion.
Cheers, Ade.
thanks Ade.
it is not an official ID tag for RCAF... a piece of custom wear.
Thanks!

As a collector of RCAF items, I can tell you that the bracelet is what's referred to as SweetHeart Jewerly, often given to an airman's female friend or family member. You find this sort of stuff on e-Bay all the time.
As has been said already, these bracelets were not actual issue ID tags (the RCAF used standard British fibre "dog tag" discs), but were very popular private purchase items. They seem to have been very popular amongst Canadians during both World Wars (and since), judging by the large number I have seen. They were often given as gifts by wives/gfs and family as well as bought by the servicemen themselves. They must have been available in a number of standard designs, covering, i would imagine, every cap badge or emblem that would sell. There's no guarantee it belonged to a pilot... I'm sure the buyer could buy whatever emblem on his bracelet that he wanted.
I agree with Ade though, €50 is too much unless the name is someone special or notable.
I have a few of these that I could post if you wanted a comparison photo.
