I am not sure that the rangers diamonds with the numbers where ever officially made, I believe they are more of a veterans thing

The one pictures is a repro as per Gel , there have been no official or unofficial use of numbered Ranger Diamonds. There were WWII Ranger diamonds with added numbers on them that came out about the same time as this post. The numbers were modern day stitched onto WWII Ranger diamonds.
