    I could not resist this when I saw it for sale, though it is post 1953, but a very appealing Royal Artillery flag IMHO. In very good condition, circa 106cm's in length, which is 42 inches which is marked on the halyard end, a pre metric issue, so dating to sometime between 1953 and 1969 I think. It has the same design on both sides.

    Or the 9 mile snipers as others would have it. My neighbor was wounded by a drop short, so he is probably not a big fan of them.
