    Here's a set I have.
I'm pretty sure they are right
Hi Rene; have only seen one set of the WWII cloth balloon wings and they looked exactly like yours! I have a set of the metal wings (snowfllake) but have yet to find the cloth version. Niice find! Hal

Hi René. The cloth wings I have are on the same Barathea or Worsted wool
with the black backing like yours has. I believe they are US made.

Searched, but have no cloth Balloon wings as I thought, only 'Technical
Observer', Command Pilot, 'Observer', 'Glider Pilot', and the earlier
    version of 'Flight Surgeon'.

I'd post a photo, but for some reason the system won't let me.
Possibly because it says my pic is 2.00MB......... !

Rene', The Air Corps had a bunch of manned baloons used for coastal defense in the US mainland. There is a hangar right here in Oregon where I have showed my museum several times. Here is a link to the website. Tillamook Air Museum The hangar is amazing even without the baloons. Nice wings by the way.

    Thanks
    Burt
