the last post i made about my uncle who had a patch with the # 16 and a tank with lighting going through the tank. he also had a seven steps to hell bracelet and a card with the name top hat club with his name and numbers. i wondered at any time he fought under patton?

The 16th Armored Division was assigned to the 15th Army in February of 1945. Small elements were attached to the 86th Infantry Division with the 3rd Army.
