Default Unidentified patches help please :)

Here is one of a few patches I am unable to identify from a lot that I am putting on eBay. As you may recall I posted pics of the patches under the British section. I'm thinking this one may be American. It was sewn into a canvas album and had a recon tab over it so I am also wondering if the tab goes with the patch. I will be posting a few more patches to ID in a few minutes, hopefully in the right sections. TIA in advance for your help

Looks like the pics came in reverse order...

The Recconiasance Corps shoulder title is British and WW2 pattern. I am a little unsure of the originality of this one.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Thanks guys

Ade: This title looks pretty clean compared to the others. The green is not olive either, making me wonder. These are the only two patches in the collection that look newer to me. I have a bunch of others listed on eBay right now, all British.

How about these two others? Is the Paris patch just a tourist item? Do you recognize the SA Lion patch?

    Thanks again,

    Tom

Neither of these are familiar to me sorry.

The Paris one I would say is a tourist item?

    Cheers, Ade.

The 1st Infantry Division Badge is Current issue now being used in the Iraq Theatre, the colour changed from the historic RED to Black in I think 2001
The colourful badges look like School Uniform Badges.

During the Vietnam war the 1 was blackened for field wear and the colored patch was retained for dress use. some units in Vietnam would have them made locally with a red 1.

    RH 1941

Thanks for the info. I knew it had to be from the 1970s at least, because it has been sewn into a canvas album since then.

    regards,

    Tom
