Unknown badge, French ?

Article about: Gents, can anyone I.D. this badge, it may not even be WW2 or indeed Allied.......looks to be a Beret badge ? possibly French ? I have had a look on the net, but to no avail. Thanks in advanc

    Not French, to me! But I could be wrong.

    No, its Dutch and is called a 'Militaire lichamelijke vaardigheid' badge, or translated 'Military physical skill' badge.
    This one seems to be from the '60's era. They came in different degrees, and you could do the test multiple times, adding a number to your badge.
    These are the sport disciplines;

    1 time run 1000m
    2 running 5000m
    3 catcrawl
    4 obstacle parcour
    5 grenade throwing
    6 climbing ropes
    7 swimming

    Blue enameled center means a certain time limit has been met on the 100 m swimming, can't remember what it was.
