Unknown chevrons

Article about: Hi all. Picked up these chevrons for a couple bucks at auction. Are these USAF? Possible RCAF? Silver thread on blue backing. Very smelly so they do have age, but I’m thinking post war? Any

    Hi all. Picked up these chevrons for a couple bucks at auction. Are these USAF? Possible RCAF? Silver thread on blue backing. Very smelly so they do have age, but I’m thinking post war? Any help is appreciated. Allies is out my realm!

    WW2 US Army Private First Class stripes.
