Try googling it and you will get a lot of info. Looks good to me and a cool item to have. I would gladly add it to my collection though if diver99 thinks its a fake, but I have never seen one to comment with any authority on its originality. I'd still be interested if it was cheap.

Certainly not WW2 in my opinion, seems more like a jewish "boys brigade" or a like badge to me.That said i don't read hebrew but i like this patch,it is unusual and i will be most interested to find out it's origins!

Looks good to me and maybe Diver was mistaken, as I posted I know nothing about these and if they have been faked. Did you look at the links I posted? Some images of the patch were shown in the second one and the units history was in the first.

Having Googled "Jewish Brigade Group" I came up with a shedload of stuff relating to it including the inevitable Wikipedia entry and another page with loads of images etc on.
It transpires that this is the "alternative" title for the "Jewish Brigade" that was formed in 1944 and served in NW Europe.

Going on what I have seen, I would tentatively give the shoulder flash a green light.

The Jewish Brigade was a group of jewish men in the British army from 1944-46. I believe that the creation of this group was because of the large amount of Jewish immagration. Also due to the fact of new found evidence of a holocaust in Germany. They fought in Europe, Italy mainly according to wiki. The patch looks a little different then others i've seen but I still think it looks ok. I'd love to have this beening I have Jewish famly myself. Great find
