unknown ww2 sergeant patch
Article about: [ATTACH=CONFIG]398231 does anybody know what these patches are from. they are really big and the look pretty old. it looks ww2 but it looks really big.

Either pre WWII or from a dress tunic would be guess and possibly much older.

In that they are large and, as shown in the photo, are worn point-down, they look like they came from the period 1855-1872. But the color appears wrong for that period.
