    Hi FeRReR

Certainly the rank badges are good. They are modern/post war British army.
If you didnt know, the single chevrons are Lance Corporal, the double chevrons are corporals. and all would be worn point DOWN on the right upper arm

The black on green chevron was worn on the combat smock and has been superceeded by a different type that is now worn on as a slide on the front.

The PLAIN white chevrons were worn on shirt sleeves and should be of white "tape". (I remember when I was promoted, there were no shirt sleeve ranks in store, so I got my mother to make me up a few sets for my shirts from white dress makers binding/edging tape! so that I wouldnt get run for being improperly dressed!)

The white on khaki brown chevrons were worn on jerseys and No2 SD dress tunics.

The Grenadier Guards shoulder flash looks good too and would be worn at the top of the arm, just below the shoulder seam.
Unfortunately I cant answer for the others.
Hope this has been some help.

    Ian

PS: Forgot to mention, As anyone who is ex-British army will tell you, the British rank system is a veritable "minefield" because of different "tribal affectations". eg: Rifle Brigade units ranks are all in black. The Royal Marines wear the black on green rank chevrons on the jersey, whereas the majority of units wear the white on khaki ones on the jersey. And thats before you start on the Brigade of Guards!!

Ok, There were loads of variations, 1940-2010.
I think it is modern- 1960s-90s. but I could be wrong.

Is that glue on the back?
does it glow under UV light?

If 'yes' to either question, then definately modern.

    My opinion- walk away.... (sorry!)

I would not pay more than 50 euro for a 100% ww2 one..... 0.5-10 euro for modern.
