Hi, just spotted this on sale.
Could this ever been possible, i doubt these were all sons, perhaps cousins, uncles???
Some of the stars seem home made and stitched.

Exactly my point. I had the opportunit to check out wartime yearbooks from the high school I taught at. They had whole sections dedicated to: "Our Boys in the Service." It makes perfect sense to me that a school or club would display a banner like this and then add stars as students graduate and enlist or were drafted.

The wait is over, it arrived last week.
Its fantastic but by the way it stinks, i bet it has been tucked away in some old trunk for last decades.
