    So, according to the chart then, these stars would be Figure 4? Still a very nice set!

    That would be my guess. They have a proper swivel
    catch, as opposed to the 'up-and-under' type
    of the WWI era.........

    I guessed WW I because they appear to be bronze. Bronze Officer collar ranks, that were normally silver, were used in the WW I period only. To help prevent a "sniper check".
