Would flags of that era still not be constructed of cotton ? I would like to know if the tommy gun is real to Mike.

I don't know if they had nylon, or not, it has 48 (Corrected) states stars, but I wanted to post to get some opinions

Hey Mike, The Valley Forge Flag Company registered their patent for Perma-Nyl on Oct 06,1961 and it was registered on November 13,1962. HowEver......the 1st USE of "Perma-Nyl"(while Not yet registered or trademarked, apparently) is given as being January 1st, 1940! There's never a straight Answer in this business, you know! lol William

This could be a replica, but it does have some wear and age to it, but I am not sure 100%?
    But thanks
