I initially thought it stood for Training Replacement Battalion but after I looked it up to verify myself I seen that it was Replacement Training Centers that I was thinking of haha. So I’m at a loss for help. But I’m interested on what comes up!

I was thinking something similar, Training Reserve Battalion. I think its WW2 but not sure.

Thanks! Everything I see when I look is for the modern era. I read about the history of the Fort and they were initially Infantry Training early on when built in 1941 then changed to something else. I did see some old group photos of the Blue Devils during WW2 that had TRB on the info but it does not say what the TRB stands for.

The 2 at the top is that 2nd Infantry? 2nd Battalion?

The 2 on top will represent the 2nd... of whatever TRB stands for. It’s also infantry in nature due to the crossed muskets. Fort Leonard Wood has always been a place of a major amount of training units. Which makes me think this is some sort of training units colors.
