I've recently bought a large lot of rank insignia. Could somebody help me identify this one, neither I nor the seller know what this is, of how it was worn/displayed. These are the only photographs I have , sorry.
Best Regards,
Andy

Top part of a shooting badge ? Not a military award.........

Steve.
I would think this would also be a shooting medal or possibly american legion or some sort of group like that
Great cap for the dough ! - A lot of nice U.S. rank insignia as well.
Are there any with company names or markings on the back ?
They all appear to be rather modern types.........
Regards,
Steve.
I've just recently bought them, so I don't have them in hand yet Steve., and there are no more pics.
The Captains bars just above the label in the last insignia pic seem to be an older type with the cross hatching?

'Bullion' style pre-WWII type, or possibly WWI era which
would be nice. There is US Army, Airforce, Navy and
Marines insignia in the lot - and I believe I see
a General's star.........

Steve.
I don't normally mention prices, but I had that lot for £7.59/$11.99 so I'm happy with that! I had a lot of cloth rank insignia too.

Rank and stripes from WWII to recent. You got a great deal on the lot.
One pair of modern Major insignia is usually $12........!

Steve.
Thanks for the info Steve, I bought all of this hoping there was some WW2 items to help with my displays. The lots were being snapped up as they were being listed. I missed out on a "winter" green crusher for the same price, and several other lots of badges and insignia as I was not fast enough to hit the button!
I've searched for literally hours to identify the item in the OP, and have turned up nothing. Maybe it is a privately made piece?
Best Regards,
Andy
