    Default USAAF Squadron Patch

Found this patch in the pocket of a US officers jacket,Has anyone any idea as to which sqn the patch relates to and what period its from ?

The patch is made from felt with a cloth back. The hands tail and beak are stitched and the body head and telescope are made from sewn on material.

    Any help is appreciated.

I agree-the construction does not look period to WWII but much newer.
