Article about: I got this patch years ago in Normandy but was not able to find any info on it. Could be French or British ?

    It's a marksman's badge, but you probably know that. British and Commonwealth badges had crossed Lee Enfields or recognisable interpretations as such. American one were metal suspended below a cross or pin back type. It's similar in appearance to a French 'Expert Tireuer' badge, but all the ones i've seen have a wreath around them. Maybe it's a civilian club patch? Sorry I can't be of more help.

    Yes I new that it could be marksman or infantry.
    Yes the info was help full ,I guess more of a french connection.
