Hello
I have recently bought this parachutist badge on a flea market in Belgium.
Do you think it is an authentic one?
Thanks

Hello thank you! How is it possible to be sure that the badge was made before 1945 ?
It is generally accepted that a badge with a slider rather than lugs is post 1945 but unfortunately some badges were still made with lugs so, if a badge has a slider you can say definately post '45 but with lugs you must say it's wartime if you want it to be! The only way to be certain would be good provenance.
I hope this is helpful.
Regards
Mark
