WWI British MP Armband

I'm not exactly sure this is WWI but from the construction and from looking at photos of the WWII ones I'm guessing this is WWI.

i would agree with ti being from ww2 but as for the it may be british but not to sure !! ww2 example did not have the button style so thats basially also what makes this from ww1 also the fact the back material was used in ww1 and into the early 1930s !!
