Italienisch-deutschen Feldzug in Afrika medal for review and question.

I just got this today. I was told it is an "Italian made" version of this award. Is this so? And if so what details tell it to be? Also, it that more or desirable than other manufactures off this medal?

In less than 3 seconds I have found more past posts and threads than your pictures.... I seem to remember one like this for sale on a recent site I had visited... It may be a case of others commenting or a little bit of research on your part as well... If I had a definite answer I would gladly post....
