M33 Italian artillery helmet

Article about: That 'my helmet Italian heavy artillery, the yellow rod in the emblem should be qualified as a Balkan theater but I'm not sure ..... I think and hope it's all original WWII ....

    Yes it is ww2, I was told that the leather straps were used during ww2 and that post war they began using other materials to use for the straps

    Yes WWII, please post a straight on photo of the front artillery stencil.

    Post war Italian helmets are also have bales that are trapezoidal in shape. Wartime helmets are rectangular in shape.

    Stencil looks wartime but done very sloopy

    Nice find there, your WW2 M33 helmet in the mediterranean color was very common in Greece and Crete. Take a look at mine also. It's marked B 233 while yours is a T11 (if i see clearly next to the stiching).

    True I had not noticed the number close to the stitching, is marked T1, but I do not know the meaning of these numbers ....

    The markings refers to the place of manufacturing and the batch number (otherwise the production code). Mine is B which is the factory Bassano di Grapa. Yours, perhaps is an AT (and not T) which is the factory Arsenales Turin.
