Stenciled Italian Helmet

I have owned this for a number of years. It has been on a shelf. I know I posted it long ago on another forum but forgot what was said about it...

Hi Matt,

The stencilled insignia appears to be for a cavalry unit, so I would assume it could have belonged to a member of a tank or possibly recon regiment.

I love the look of these m33's . ESP. With the nice stencil. One of the only axis helmets I don't have in the collection!

I don't know if the fact that yours is on a re-painted makes any difference.
It's definitley a nice helmet.
