ww2 Alpini cap authentic?

Article about: I get mixed reviews about this cap as being authentic ww2 or slightly postwar. To me stitching looks good but cap emblem is not quite like wartime designs. Any help would be appreciated! Tha

    I get mixed reviews about this cap as being authentic ww2 or slightly postwar. To me stitching looks good but cap emblem is not quite like wartime designs. Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi Gary,
    as for M33 helmets, even the Alpine Hat is a real minefield and you have to be very careful.
    In this case I feel quite confident and in my modest experience, from what I can see from the photos, this example is datable in the 50s and 60s.
    It can be understood from the model badge 1950, but also from the following parts:
    Inside cloth of the type with "ear of corn" texture, in the war period was used a smooth texture.
    Painted aluminum air vents, typically of post war period.
    That said, however, is an honest original example.
