    I picked this cap up and I was curious about the blue /white insignia on the cap ?
    Is this Arty or Inf?

    Hi Tony,
    this is a WW2 veteran cap, used in the post war.
    The owner belonged to the 50th Infantry Regiment of 49th "Parma" Division, which fought on the Greek / Albanian front in 1940/41, where he remained to guard the territory until 8 sep 1943, the date of 'Armistice, was later dissolved.
    The blue/white insignia represents the collar tabs which were sewn on his tunic with the Regiment colors.

    For info: the colored wire on these caps indicates the specialty, in this case, the red color is that of the infantry.
