Advice on framing a Hinomaru Yosegaki

Hi all,

I am now wanting to frame and display my Hinomaru Yosegaki.

I am wondering what the best way to do this is? Do you all take yours to your local picture framer? I am wondering if they are up to the task on this one.

I am in the UK. Any information or tips would be appreciated. Has anyone in the UK used someone that was good - I would be willing to send mine to them to get it done properly.

I've had a few flags framed. My guy does the conservation method. The flag is tack stitched on acid free stretched fabric then it is mounted with an airspace ( not smushed up against glass) using uv glass. Expensive but correct
