Ammunition Chest

Just picked this up. It's very similar to the chest used with the T-92 HMG but has different dimensions. It appears to have been intended for the T-97 20mm Anti Tank rifle. Here are some photos. Whatcha all think? The interior markings show a Showa 16 date and the marking for Jinsen Arsenal.

The markings are for that 20MM automatic gun:

甲薬弾 [Armor Rounds]

Very interesting and probably fairly rare to find. A great piece for any Japanese militaria display.

interesting to see another example of this chest. Note that this second example is missing the cloth top and that the weapon designation is read left to right rather than right to left like mine
