    Before WW1 or reloaded imo.

    I agree with Narcis. The bullet looks a bit strange so I think a reload of some type.

    From what i can tell online. This is the Type 30 bullet from its round projectile, which was replaced in 1905 with the Type 38 Spitzer pointed projectile. It would not have seen use in ww2.


    Out of curiosity what is the base stamp?

    I think that would be a later example of primer crimping. They started with one notch and then two notches. I think 3 notches began in WWII but not sure on that.
