    Hello. I'm new to the Japanese side of the war. I'm more use to the German side of things. That said, I don't know how to tell if certain things are fake or legit. If someone can look at this and determine if it's real or not, please do so as soon as possible. Click image for larger version.

    Bad picture, with that said, it looks to be good.

    Agree -- it's a typical "yosegaki" flag with the top heading [reading from right to left]:
    武運長久
    Buun Chōkyū

    It's worth a better look for sure, but be warned that buying based on a photo like this is like buying a Waffen SS crusher only based on a photo of it taken from 5 meters away.

    Eishin Chino was the owner, a family in Yamanashi prefecture (city hall and police officials signing). Otherwise an authentic average Yosegaki from war time.
