    Default Help identify Japanese Bayonet

Hey I got another japanese bayonet for a cheap price and I know it is a Type 30 ,but which variant? The blade is 15 and 3/4 inches long. I have a few books, byut they dont provide enough examples. Here is the pic of the markings. Thanks all.

It was made by Hikari Seiki Seisaku-jo KK. Need a picture of the rest of it if you want any more info.

I would say it`s worth about $50 if the scabbard isn`t all dented.A typical type 30 with a hooked quillon and early features.

Hey JH, like the bayo. I am always amazed when I put that bayo on my Arisaka. The darn thing is nearly six foot long. I don't know how those little fellas handled them. I'm six foot tall and it's a handfull for me.

    Take care,
    Jay

What do you think of this WWII Japanese Arisaka Bayonet Type 30 from the Kokura Arsenal. Is it "toooo" nice or do you think its just a fine example? Doest have some rust near the end along the top of the blade. I dont like that there is no ball at end of the scabbard. but it just feels right. Here are some pics for ya'all to ponder upon - Scouts Out!!!
