    I think it's Masahiro Showa 20 (1945), 2nd month (February), Gatsu 昭和 二 十年 二月

    Can you confirm me if it is correct? It really is the second war?

    I think you have the same sword on NMB. Most of the sword guys are on both sites, so likely the only things you will get extra is if Mr Komiya weighs in.

    I realize the essential info was passed to you, but it seems like that entire WAF page would have been included.

    I haven’t doubt about the sword. I was going to sell it, but the buyer wanted someone else to translate, and that person was insisting that the sword was from 1947 (he was considering a trace that was part of another word), and he wasn't the only one saying that, and the confusion began...
