    The kanji in pink are just guesses, as they are too faint to clearly make out. The last questionable kanji is just too faded for me to even guess at. Were I a native-speaker of Japanese, I might be able to accurately guess the content. But I'm not; and I can't.

    IF it was a birthday memorial [and I don't accurately know because I can't read the kanji!] -- perhaps the father, company, relatives, etc., purchased the flag to commemorate the birth. Sounds unusual to me.

    AGAIN .... I do NOT know what those two fuzzy kanji are. Perhaps Nick Komiya will drop by and correct my errors.

    Guy has read all the Kanji correctly. Narita was the man who presented the flag.
