This is a Japanese Arisaka rifle.
LIFE'S LOSERS NEVER LEARN FROM THE ERROR OF THEIR WAYS.
thank you very much. also what size is the bullet and is it safe to fire this wepon?
It is a 34th series Arisaka rifle made at the Kokura arsenal,it uses the 7.7x58 Japanese cartridge,I would advise having it checked by a gunsmith before shooting it as who knows what changes have been done to it?
JEDEM DAS SEINE
thank you. and as far as i know nothing has been changed.
Good luck will be needed to even find ammunition for this rifle. If you are serious about firing it,your best bet would be probably to size an load your own-but Always keep the loads on a low side. Never put full loads into an older weapon, no matter how solid and sturdy it may seem. Modern powders are much different from those of the era of the firearm. William
