Would be interested to know about this badge.
It was brought back by my uncle, probably from Bougainville.

Looks like the badge from an IJN helmet.

It's the helmet badge for the Japanese Naval Landing Forces.

Hi Journeyman , i agree with the other guy`s , a badge from an IJN helmet , it has a lovely patina
