Japanese Canteen markings

Howdy! I recently posted a thread about an estate sale that resulted in me owning a pickelhaube, belt and a Japanese canteen;https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/imper...23/#post976864
I wanted to post the canteen to try to get a translation of the Kanji from the stitching/patch. Thanks!

It's first and last name of the soldier. The three (三) might indicates his position.

The stitched characters are:

玉ホリ - Tamahori (Family name)

These name stitches can also seen on some other webbing gears, rucksacks, uniforms and even caps.
