Japanese Civil Defense Helmet

Here is my little bonus from a recent business trip to Japan, I always try and time them with a local flea market that rarely fails to turn up something.

Civil Defense helmet which I believe are from 1920s onwards (if anybody can point me to a good resource on these helmets I would be grateful).
It's not rare but this one I’m really pleased with, paint is good and liner are both in good condition.
