Japanese flag!

Hi I bought this flag from an estate sale today. Where the triangular leather pieces are in the corner, underneath that glows under black light! A friend said it could be from the leather? Any comments or questions are welcome! Thanks! - Nick K

Or then again, it Could simply be a 50 plus year old fake...It's hard to tell after all this time has passed. Personally, I don;t care for the looks of the leather corner-maybe they were added to stop further deterioration? Does the stitching on the leather glow as well? William

No and is it possible it is from WW2 its just the material they made it out of glows? ( and only underneath the leather triangles glow) - Nick K
