    Got this along with some common medals (China Service, 8th Class Rising Sun). It has attached what I thought was a charm shaped like an old coin. I didn't realize it opened until I was getting ready to photograph it.

    What I can make out (Not sure of reading)
    歩三五補 Inf. 35 Tasuku
    神澤幸春 Kanazawa Yukiharu
    歩少尉 Inf. 2nd Lt.

    "Charm"
    熟檮 ??
    武運長久 Good Luck in Battle
    Can't really make out most of what is stamped in the brass

    The bottom brass portion (down the center) has the phrase: Samuhara

    Ah, good information! The inner brass plate looks very similar to one on the web page. I recall running into "Samuhara" before on something and having a difficult time trying to translate it as I think it uses some non-standard kanji.

    Here's my explanation on the concept of Samuhara.

    The first word on your tab is 熱禱, read nettoh, meaning to passionately wish for something, superlative form of from 祈武運長久.
